Måns Zelmerlöw to be joined by five backing vocalists

Today it has been announced by SVT that Måns Zelmerlöw will be joined by five backing singers on stage in Vienna next month when he will be hoping to bring the Eurovision trophy back to Sweden.

The whole performance seems to have been altered from the Melodifestivalen performance, backing singers have been added due to the Eurovision rule stating that there may not be any pre-recorded vocals on the backing track. The cartoon man on the screen with Måns has been changed due to plagiarism claims. Although the format of the performance is believed to be the same.

Michael Blomqvist
Has previously performed alongside Eurovision singers such as Carola and Charlotte Nilsson (Pirelli).

Linnea Deb
Is one of the writers of “Heroes”, who has performed as a backing singer for acts such as Carola, Ace of Base, and Metallica. She has also appeared on previous Måns songs.
