Tonight the first set of acts took to the Icelandic stage in hope of gaining enough votes to make the top 3 tonight, and therefore gain a place in the 14th of February, where the final six acts will fight for the Icelandic ticket to Vienna.
The six acts competing tonight were (Qualifiers are in bold):
1. Erna Hrönn Ólafsdóttir ‘Myrkrið hljótt’
2. HINEMOA ‘Þú leitar líka að mér’
3. Elín Sif Halldórsdóttir ‘Í kvöld’
4. Friðrik Dór ‘Í síðasta skipti’
5. Stefanía Svavarsdóttir ‘Augnablik’
6. Björn og félagar ‘Piltur og stúlka’
Tonight the public decided, meaning that it was 100% televote. The second Semi Final will take place next Saturday.
