Bojana Stamenov and Danica Krstic have confirmed they will participate in Serbia’s national selection, according to Danijel Graic – the man organizing and writing three songs for Serbia’s national selection this year. Bojana Stamenov was the runner up in Serbia’s TV show “I’ve got Talent” and Danica Krstic, who performs traditional Balkan music, has been singing professionally in Serbia since she was five years old.
Graic said that the third song he prepared for the national selection is for a male performer and there is speculation that Danijel Popovic, the half brother of Serbia’s only Eurovision winner Marija Serifovic, will be selected. Popovic participated in Serbia’s national final in 2009.
Serbia’s national final will be held in February so we should find out soon who the third candidate will be. Stay tuned for more information about Serbia’s selection for Vienna!
