Just as last year, Lithuania will embark on a long process to select their song and representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. The selection process will last for 10 weeks, involving an introduction show to allow viewers to become familiar with the acts, followed by a number of weeks of performances and eliminations.
The shows will begin on January 3rd, the song will be selected on February 14th and the act will be selected on February 21st, followed by two shows looking back on the previous shows and the concert.
National and International songwriters and composers are welcomed to send in their songs for consideration, although only Lithuanian singers may enter as contestants on the show.
Lithuania were represented by Vilija with her self penned song ‘Attention’ in Copenhagen, although failed to reach the final.
