Slovenia’s national broadcaster, RTVSLO, will once again use the national selection Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) to determine who will represent Slovenia in Vienna next year. RTVSLO will release the rules and regulations for the national selection in November.
Slovenia has used EMA to select their representatives 18 times since 1996; Slovenia did not participate in 2000 and in 2013 the Slovenian representative was selected internally. Last year, RTVSLO used EMA to select Tinkara Kovač with the song Round and Round. Kovač placed 25th in the final in Copenhagen.
