How the stage will look in two weeks

With four days before the rehearsals for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, the venue has received its final touches. The stage (above) is fully completed, the press are on their way, the participants and preparing for travel, and the fans… well the fans have been ready for 12 months.

The 40 participating countries will take to the stage next week, when the rehearsals begin, all hoping to gain the most points on the 23rd of May and bring the Eurovision trophy home with them. The trophy will be a similar design to previous years, although the logo will be specific for 2015.

According to the betting odds, Sweden will be gaining their sixth Eurovision win, butting them in sole second place in the most wins list. Current leader board:

1. Ireland – 7 wins
2. France – 5 wins
2. Luxembourg – 5 wins
2. Sweden – 5 wins
2. United Kingdom – 5 wins

The betting odds last year changed dramatically after the semi finals, so will Sweden still be favourites come the 22nd of May? or will an outsider take the lead like in 2014?

The ESCunited team will be in Vienna bringing you the latest news, interviews, and vlogs, so keep checking back and we will bring you more information as, and when it comes in!
