High interest for Ukraine’s Vidbir continues well into the new Eurovision season. With an impressive pool of 369 submitted applications, Ukraine has revealed the list for its national selection, featuring 20 acts in the running to represent the country in Eurovision 2025.
The 20 artists will undergo auditions, after which 9 finalists will be announced. To ensure a fair chance for all, an online ranked voting system will give 1 additional finalist spot to a participant who did not initially make the cut. This process ensures that up to 10 performers will compete in the televised national selection final in February 2025. As in previous years, the winner will be determined through a combination of jury and audience votes, and the jury members for the final will be selected by the Ukrainian public via online voting.

The 68th contest, hosted in Malmö, Sweden, saw Ukraine’s duo alyona alyona & Jerry Heil secure an impressive 3rd place with their song “Teresa & Maria.”
