SMRTV has officially released the music video “Come noi,” San Marino’s entry to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The video was directed by Alessandro Capicchioni, Enea Salicioni, Luca Zucchi.
“Come noi” (“Like us”) is performed by Idols SM, an all-girl group comprised of Asia Ceccoli, Giorgia Descisolo, Vera Stefania Olkhovskaya, and Giulia Rinaldi. The song was written by ESC veterans Nicola Della Valle, Paolo Macina, and Francesco Sancisi, members of the band Miodio, who represented San Marino when the country made its Eurovision debut in 2008.
The 2024 contest will be San Marino’s fourth time participating in Junior Eurovision, following an eight-year absence from the competition. The microstate debuted in 2014 with the song “O-o-O Sole intorno a me” by Michele Perniola, placing 10th with 42 points – its best result to date. Perniola went on to represent San Marino, alongside Anita Simoncini, at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with “Chain of Lights,” which did not qualify for the Grand Final.
The 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on November 16th in Madrid at the Caja Mágica.
