We’re closing 2024 with breaking news, this time from Serbia. According to RTS  – Serbian national broadcaster, Buč Kesidi performed “Tužne Ljubavi” in May 2024 in Umag, Croatia during the Sea Star festival.

Earlier this year, the winner of the Montenegrin national final, NeonoeN, was disqualified after winning the selection because their song “Clickbait” had been performed live in a slightly different arrangement at another festival.

As a reminder, according to the rules of participation, any song released or performed live before September 1, cannot enter the national final or be selected to represent a country in Eurovision. Because of this, Buč Kesidi is disqualified from the national final and will not participate in this year’s competition.

Instead of them, group Maršali got the opportunity as the first name from the reserves list. They will try and win the national final with the song “Po Policama Sećanja” written and composed by Strahinja Tanasijin.

Songs for “Pesma za Evroviziju” have not been released yet and the national final is scheduled for late February of 2025.
