
After a long week of shows and performances, Malta has officially selected their Eurovision act for the 2025 contest in Basel.
The MESC final featured 16 acts who all qualified out of the two semi-finals held earlier this week. The opening and closing acts of the final were selected by a random draw on Thursday, with the rest of the order being chosen by PBS. The running order was as follows:
- Miriana Conte – “Kant”
- Victoria – “Juno”
- Dario Bezzina ft. Żeppi l-Muni – “Għażliet” (Options)
- JVF – “Festa (No Time for Siesta)”
- The Alchemists – “Rubble & Stone”
- Krista Šujak – “Unheard”
- Raquela – “Silenced”
- Kantera – “LalaRataTakeke LalaRataKabum”
- Nathan – “Concrete”
- Justine Shorfid – “Still I Rise”
- Adria Twins – “Qalb ma’ Qalb” (Heart to heart)
- Martina Borg – “Yo Listen”
- Mark Anthony Bartolo – “Hideaway”
- Kurt Calleja – “Aziz/a” (Dear)
- Kristy Spiteri – “Heaven Sent”
- Stefan Galea – “Lablab (Talk Talk)”
At the conclusion of the performances the televote period opened and featured interval performances from Malta’s JESC 2024 entrant Ramires Sciberras, Maxine Pace who won the Mużika Mużika 2024 festival, Eurovision 2009 winner Alexander Rybak, and finally MESC winner and Eurovision 2024 participant Sarah Bonnici.
The winner of MESC 2025 was decided through both a jury and public televote process. As results came pouring in, Kristy Spiteri was a clear favorite of the 9 member jury and received a total of 102 points. Miriana Conte placed in second with 88 points, and Victoria was in third with 74 points.
Then it all came down to the televote. Despite having a lead in the jury, Kristy Spiteri came in second with the televote, earning 74 points and finishing with 174 total. On the other hand, Miriana Conte stormed the televote earning 94 points and securing the win with a total of 182 points. The final scoreboard is provided below.

Therefore, Miriana Conte will serve as Malta’s Eurovision 2025 representative with the song “Kant”.
