Montenegro returned to the Eurovision spotlight with a revamped edition of Montesong, showcasing the country’s talent and creativity. Here’s a full rundown of the night, from performances to memorable moments.
A Nostalgic Opening
The evening began with a touch of nostalgia as Daniel Popović’s classic “Džuli” set the tone for a celebration of Montenegro’s Eurovision legacy. Vladana Vučinić, Montenegro’s last representative before their hiatus, kicked off the main show with an emotional rendition of her Eurovision 2022 song, Breathe. The hosts, Marko Todorović and Vladana herself, led the night with charm and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Andrea Šekularac and Lazar Radulović kept the green room lively, interviewing artists and special guests.
Fans were treated to a trip down memory lane as the show highlighted Montenegro’s iconic Eurovision moments, from Rambo Amadeus’ unconventional performance to Slavko Kalezić’s unforgettable stage presence. Sergej Ćetković, one of Montenegro’s most beloved Eurovision artists, shared his experiences in the green room.
The event also celebrated RTCG’s journey in broadcasting, from the black-and-white era to today’s vivid color productions.

A diverse lineup of 16 acts competed for the honor of representing Montenegro at Eurovision 2024, each bringing their unique style and flair.
1. Anastasija Koprolčec – “Kraj”
Opening the competition, Anastasija’s gentle ballad captivated with its starry skies staging and a vocal performance that slowly built in intensity.
2. Tina Džankić – “Nova”

3. Nemanja Petrović – “Među zvijezdama”

4. Bend 9 – “Stop War”

5. Tamara Živković – “Poguban let”
Tamara’s warm staging and compelling choreography complemented her soaring vocals in this dramatic number.
6. Luka Radović – “Kada dođe maj”
Luka’s green-and-yellow lighting scheme and mysterious dancer added intrigue to this reflective song.
7. Đurđa – “To ljubav je”
A sweet ballad with emotional vocals, Đurđa’s performance began intimately on the floor before rising into a smoky, ethereal climax.
8. Kejt – “Obala raja”
Kejt’s tropical-themed drum ‘n’ bass track came alive with vibrant choreography and colorful staging.
9. Nina Žižić – “Dobrodošli”
Nina’s gravelly voice lent depth to this haunting ballad, complemented by her striking lace-covered staging.
10. NeonoeN – “CLICKBAIT”
This playful, energetic entry was instantly catchy, inviting the audience to sing along and enjoy the fun atmosphere.
11. Isak Šabanović – “Ljeto, ljeto, ljeto”
Isak’s performance blended rock grit with melodic tones, delivering high energy and a memorable hook.
12. Glumci Bend – “San”
True to their theatrical name, Glumci Bend’s performance featured dramatic staging with a mysterious curtain and an artistic aesthetic.
13. Dolce Hera – “Repeat”
A classic beat intertwined with trumpet flourishes made this track unique, creating a striking contrast.
14. Baryak – “Dva srca”
With a dark, apocalyptic vibe and haunting melodies, Baryak’s entry stood out as one of the night’s most atmospheric performances.
15. Verica Čuljković – “Čuješ li?”
Verica’s soft ballad provided a soothing, elegant interlude, underscored by her gentle vocals.
16. Milena Vučić – “Škorpija”
Closing the show, Milena’s scorpion-themed outfit and catchy beat delivered a fiery finale.
Interval Act
The interval acts of the show were a nostalgic trip down Eurovision memory lane. Montenegro’s beloved Sergej Ćetković delivered a heartfelt performance of Moj svijet, Montenegro’s entry from Eurovision 2014, instantly transporting viewers back to its emotive staging and memorable melody. Joining him was Elena Risteska, who represented FYR Macedonia in 2006 (North Macedonia today), captivating the audience with her sultry performance of Muka mi je. Finally, the Eurovision royalty Emmelie de Forest, who graced the stage to perform her 2013 winning song, Only Teardrops graced us with a performance that was the perfect surprise for Eurovision fans.
The Voting
The voting process, split evenly between the expert jury and the televote, brought high tension and excitement to the evening.
After the jury votes were announced, Nina Žižić took the lead with her powerful performance of Dobrodošli. Close behind her was NeonoeN’s edgy and modern track Clickbait, followed by Milena Vučić in third place with her sultry number Scorpio.
But it was the televote that turned the tide! With overwhelming support from viewers, the final winner was revealed as… CLICKBAIT by NeonoeN! This high-energy entry will represent Montenegro at Eurovision 2025 in Basel.
