Supernova is back! LTV revealed not only snippets from the 20 semi-finalists for Latvia’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, but also additional details about the program itself. The program is scheduled to first air the semi-final on 1 February and the final on 8 February.
Further clarifications for the Supernova format were announced, with both the semifinal and the final being jury voting and televoting, the same format as the previous edition of the selection. Jury members will not be revealed until after the Grand Final for the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.
LTV also released the 20 entries to this year’s Supernova, with bios detailing the entrants. For further details regarding all the 20 participants, you can find them here. You can already listen to snippets of the entries before the full release, currently scheduled for release on the Supernova website and on their official YouTube channel.

Latvia was last represented by Dons last year in Malmö. Latvia finished 7th in the first semi-final with 72 points, sending Latvia into the Grand Final for the first time since 2016. In the Grand Final, Latvia finished in 16th place with 64 points. Will this year’s winning Supernova entry make it to the Grand Final once more?
