After last night’s Grand Final, where Luxembourg came 13th for their return, the Head of Delegation has already talked about the country’s future plans for the next Eurovision Song Contest.
David Gloesener has confirmed Luxembourg’s participation in next year’s contest, stating that preparations are “on track” and that discussions and working groups will be held in the coming weeks to prepare the participation for the 2025 contest. The Head of Eurovision at RTL said:
“We are preparing and looking for the next candidate to go to Switzerland”
This year, Luxembourg returned to the competition after an absence of more than 30 years. Tali won the Luxembourg Song Contest and represented the Grand Duchy with the song “Fighter”, finishing 13th in the Grand Final with 103 points.
