Earlier today, RTL announced details of how the finalists of the national selection will be announced.
The finalists of the Luxembourg Song Contest will be revealed on December 11th on RTL Radio, as the broadcaster announced on its ESC live ticker.
8 contestants will be revealed, as the broadcaster will announce one contestant per hour starting at 7:10am, according to the schedule below:
- 7.10 am
- 8.40 am
- 9.20 am
- 10.40 am
- 11.50 am
- 12.50 pm
- 1.40 pm
- 2.40 pm
RTL will announce the Luxembourg Song Contest finalists on both the RTL Today Radio (in English) and on the RTL Lëtzebuerg Radio (in Luxembourgish).
The Luxembourgish broadcaster also mentioned that people will be able to buy tickets for the live show in advance, but did not give any further information at the moment.
The finalists of the national selection have been chosen by an international jury during a live audition phase. After several rounds of internal selection over the last few months, the Luxembourg Song Contest is coming to a conclusion.
The live show set to be held on the evening of January 27th at the Rockhal in Belval, Esch-sur-Alzette, will unveil the first Luxembourgish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest after an absence of more than 30 years.
