Earlier today, Luxembourg’s national broadcaster RTL announced the official name of the national selection on its social media platforms and website.

The “Luxembourg Song Contest” is the name chosen by the broadcaster. After revealing new details about the selection process a few days ago, RTL has now announced the name of the selection and will officially announce the finalists at the beginning of December.

RTL describes the participants of the national selection as “artists who represent the cultural diversity of the Luxembourgish music scene”.

David Gloesener, Head of Eurovision at RTL, says: “This is more than just a contest; it’s a celebration of Luxembourg’s musical talent and a testament to our rich Eurovision heritage”.

The Luxembourg Song Contest will be broadcast live from the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette on Saturday 27 January. The live show will be available internationally on the RTL Play platform, with several versions of the show to be available, with original sound from the arena, commentary in French and English and an audio version for those without access to a screen.

Information and ticket sales details for the Luxembourg Song Contest will be announced shortly.

The winner of the show will have the chance to represent Luxembourg in May at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden.
