Israel: Yuval Raphael has been selected for Basel
Tonight the final round of HaKokhav HaBa (The Rising Star) concluded in Israel, with Yuval Raphael being selected to represent the country at Eurovision 2025.
The show featured four finalists, with only three qualifying for the superfinal. The winner was ultimately decided through a combination of public app voting and points awarded by the show’s judging panel.
The results of the show were as follows:
- Yuval Raphael – 1st
- Valerie Hamaty – 2nd
- Red Band & Moran Aharoni – 3rd
- Daniel Weiss – 4th
Israel will select Yuval’s song through an internal selection process, with submissions being accepted until February 2nd. After it is selected, the song and its corresponding music video will be released in March.
Israel will compete along thirty-one other countries in the semi-finals for the chance to compete in the Eurovision Grand Final this coming May.
