Opatija is gearing up for an exciting year in 2025 as the grand finale of the Dora festival, Croatia’s renowned Eurovision selection, will take place on March 2, 2025.
This announcement was confirmed during a session of the Opatija Tourism Board Assembly. The meeting was chaired by Mayor Fernando Kirigin, who also serves as the president of the Tourism Board.
The return of Dora is expected to further solidify Opatija’s status as a cultural and tourist hub. Dora has long been a highlight on Croatia’s entertainment calendar, drawing fans of Eurovision and music from across the nation.
As a reminder, 24 entries will be competing for a chance to represent Croatia in Eurovision 2025:
