Today the Spanish national broadcaster RTVE released the 16 entries competing in Benidorm Fest 2025, the nation’s selection process for Eurovision this year.
The artists for the national selection were revealed previously on November 12th, and were selected from a field of almost 1,000 submissions to the broadcaster. The entries can be streamed on the RTVE website and should appear on other streaming platforms later this week.
The competing artists and songs are as follows:
- Carla Frigo – “Bésame” (Kiss me)
- Celine Van Heel – “La casa” (The house)
- Chica Sobresalto – “Mala feminista” (Bad feminist)
- Daniela Blasco – “U Na Na”
- David Afonso – “Amor barato” (Cheap love)
- De Teresa – “La pena” (The pain)
- Henry Semler – “No lo ves” (You don’t see it)
- J Kbello – “VIP”
- K!ngdom – “Me gustas tú” (I like you)
- Kuve – “Loca xti” (Crazy for you)
- Lachispa – “Hartita de llorar” (Tired of crying)
- Lucas Bun – “Te escribo en el cielo” (I write to you in heaven)
- Mawot – “Raggio di sole” (Ray of sunlight)
- Mel Ömana – “The Queen”
- Melody – “Esa diva” (That diva)
- Sonia & Selena – “Reinas” (Queens)
Voting changes for Benidorm Fest were also announced today, revealing that the demoscopic jury has been eliminated for all shows. Now the qualifiers for the final and the eventual winner of Benidorm Fest will be decided by a 50/50 voting process that features a jury and public televote. Results from the semi-final will also not be revealed until after the final concludes, a change from past years.
The semi-finals for Benidorm Fest will be held on January 28th and 30th, with the final being held on February 1st.
