It’s official: Melody will fly the flag for Spain in Basel after winning Benidorm Fest 2025.

The eight finalists performed in the following running order:

  1. Daniela Blasco – “Uh nana“
  2. Kuve – “Loca xti“
  3. Mawot – “Raggio di sole“
  4. Lachispa – “Hartita de llorar”
  5. Mel Ömana – “I’m A Queen“
  6. J Kbello – “V.I.P.“
  7. Lucas Bun – “Te escribo en el cielo“
  8. Melody – “Esa diva“

The jury vote winner was J Kbello, with 74 points. Melody won the public vote with 80 points, along with 70 from the jury, for a total of 150 points.

Nebulossa opened the show with her Eurovision 2024 song “Zorra.”

Rigoberta Bandini performed during the interval, along with Amaral.  

The show was hosted by TV presenters Inés Hernand and Paula Vazquez, as well as Eurovision veteran Ruth Lorenzo.

Eight music and entertainment industry professionals from Spain and abroad served on the Benidorm Fest 2025 jury:

  1. Jaime Acero
  2. Mariangela Borneo
  3. Javier Llano
  4. Claudia Orellana
  5. Roberto Santamaría
  6. Oksana Skybinska
  7. Maja Tokic
  8. Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen

Spain has won the Eurovision Song Contest twice: in 1968, with “La La La” by Massiel, and in 1969 with “Vivo cantando” by Salomé (sharing the win with with France, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands).

Eurovision 2025 will take place in Basel, Switzerland from May 11 – May 17, 2025.
