Yesterday we had 12 acts taking the stage, and today we had the same. Another 12 acts took the stage in Germany, and here they performed some covers of popular songs, or some of their own older original songs.

Chefsache ESC 2025: Wer singt für Deutschland? – Heat 2

Just like the first heat, the same format was used in order to pick the qualifiers. Each act would either perform a cover of a song, or perform one of their older songs. Here afterwards, the jury would fully decide the qualifiers, who then advance to the semi-final, which is set to take place on the 22nd of February.

These were the 12 acts of tonight, performing the songs:

  1. Adina – “In the Air Tonight”
  2. Jaln – “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims
  3. Leonora – “Good Day”
  4. Ni-ka – “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson
  5. From Fall to Spring – “Control”
  6. Noah Levi – “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” by Shawn Mendes
  7. Cloudy June – “Sad Girl Era”
  8. Parallel – “Noi”
  9. Moss Kena – “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars
  10. Vincent Varus – “Coffee”
  11. The Great Leslie – “Fix You” by Coldplay
  12. Lyza – “Voila” by Barbara Pravi

Once again, the show was aired on RTL, which is a private channel. This is due to the creator of this new format Stefan Raab, working for the channel. This year’s German national final is a collaboration between the private channel and public broadcaster ARD.

Heat 2: Results

As pointed out already before, the results of the heats are purely decided by the jury. The jury for the second heat consisted of Stefan Raab, Yvonne Catterfeld, Elton and Johannes Oerding.

Together, they decided to pick the following acts to advance to the semi-final, which will take place on the 22nd of February:

  • Jaln
  • Leonora
  • From Fall to Spring
  • Cloudy June
  • Moss Kena
  • The Great Leslie
  • Lyza

Now that the heats have concluded, next is the semi-final with the 14 acts that have qualified, they are expected to perform their entries during the semi-final next week.
