ESC 2025: Running order for the semi-finals have been finalized

We are getting closer and closer to the 2025 contest in Basel, Switzerland. Today, we saw another huge step towards the contest, with the running order for the semi-finals now being known.

The Running order of the 2025 Semi-finals

No big changes have been made since last year, 2025 will continue with the new idea of having the finalists performing among the semi-finalists. This concept was first presented last year, in order to give pre-qualified countries an equal chance of success as any other country from the semi-finals, by allowing viewers to get to know the finalists as well ahead of time.

Back in January, the participants of both semi-finals were decided and which half each country would perform in. Now we finally have the full list, which you can watch below.

Semi-final 1 – May 13th

Opening the contest and the first semi-final will be done by VÆB from Iceland, while closing the semi-final will be done by Theo Evan from Cyprus, starting with one island and finishing with another.

Opening the contest and the first semi-final will be done by Go-jo from Australia, while closing the semi-final will be done by Erica Wikman from Finland, just like the first semi-final, we start with an island nation, but end it all in the north.
