As the show in Madrid approaches, and with Armenia recently confirming its participation in the contest, the broadcaster (AMPTV) has started to accept song submissions for JESC 2024.
AMPTV has published an application form that the submissions need to go through to have a chance to join the competition. There are a few restrictions and rules regarding the eligibility and application procedures. Firstly, children between the ages of 9 and 14 in groups of up to six people are allowed to apply. The application must include sending two videos of the artist performing two cover songs live-on-tape. Those who pass the first round will be invited to audition in front of a jury. It is this jury, who will decide the appropriate representative for Armenia at JESC 2024.
Applications will be accepted from July 8 to July 21.
Armenia aims to add to their trophy cabinet, with two wins already and the most recent victory in 2021 with “Qami Qami” by Maléna.
