SVT Announces Participants for Melodifestivalen 2025
SVT has revealed the lineup for Melodifestivalen 2025, Sweden’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.
This year’s competition features 30 acts competing across five heats, each held in a different city in Sweden, with the grand final having 2 entrants from each heat and two wildcard spots.
Melodifestivalen starts on February 1, 2025, and will crown the winner in the grand final on March 9, 2025.
Below is the full breakdown of artists and locations for each heat:
Heat 1 – February 1, 2025 (Luleå)

Returning Swedish Eurovision representatives include Måns Zelmerlöw (Eurovision 2015 winner with “Heroes”), John Lundvik (Eurovision 2019 with “Too Late for Love”), and Arvingana (Eurovision 1993).
The lineup has 13 returning artists to Melodifestivalen including Klara Hammarström, Dolly Style, and SCARLET.
