With 2024 soon approaching it’s end, more and more details are coming out on a daily basis soon across Europe, and once again Sweden reveal more details regarding their 2025 plans. Other than prioritizing a record 8th victory in the contest, viewers in Sweden need to be guided to finding that winner, and now we know the pair that will guide the viewers.
Melodifestivalen 2025 – Hosts
The task of entertaining the Swedish viewers across the cold winter months, will be done by none other than comedian and presenting duo of Kristina “Keyyo” Petrushina and Edvin Törnblom.
Kristina “Keyyo” Petrushina
“Keyyo” is a Russian-Swedish comedian, who started out in her teens by doing sketches on Youtube. Eventually, she moved into the field of comedy, podcasting and even TV hosting.
Shows she has hosted in the past includes such as “Kristallen” and “Talang” – which is the Swedish version of “Got Talent“. She’s even had her own show on SVT, which went under the name “Keeyo and Co.” and currently runs a comedy podcast with Hampus Hedström, titled Frågar ät en kompis.

Edvin Törnblom
Edvin Törnblom started out as an intern at “Filip & Frederik’s Breaking News” and from there worked his way forward, by working at both SVT and SR, and has since 2020 done the podcast “Ursäkta” along with Johanna Nordström.
In 2022, he then released the book “Bögen är lös” – The Gay is Loose – as well as hosted the QX Gaygala.

Melodifestivalen is set to kick-off on the 1st of February 2025, with a new show each week, leading up to the final, which is set for 8th of March 2025. The announcement of the competing artists for the 2025 edition is expected to take place before new year.
2024 saw Sweden being represented by Marcus & Martinus with the song “Unforgettable” on home soil in Malmö. The duo of Norwegian origins, managed to bring Sweden a 9th place finish in the final.
