RTS has officially opened submissions for PZE 25, where the country will choose its Eurovision 2025 representative. The news comes some two weeks earlier than last year, where the submissions were officially announced around August 1.

This year’s competition for new compositions will remain open until November 1, 2024, indicating strong interest from artists and the public. This early start is a testament to the growing popularity of Pesma za Evroviziju since its revamp.

Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) is committed to fostering and enhancing musical creativity in the realm of popular music. In line with this goal, RTS will host the selection process to determine Serbia’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 which will take place in Switzerland during May next year.

The RTS Selection Committee will evaluate all submissions based on their artistic quality. Should none of the entries meet the necessary musical standards, RTS retains the right to independently select a composition.

Following the well-known pattern from last year, the song that will represent Serbia at the next yearโ€™s Eurovision will be chosen through a combined vote from a professional jury of distinguished music and media creators and the audience at the Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 festival, adhering to the Eurovision voting principle of 50% jury and 50% audience votes.
