Straight from the RTS’ headquerters, Serbian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Luke Black, was sent off to Liverpool!
The RTS delegation along with Luke Black were hosted ceremonially, and apart from numerous journalists and fans, the send-off was also attended by the ambassadors of Ukraine and Great Britain, who are this year’s hosts.
Luke also received the Serbian flag, handed off by Konstrakta, this country’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
In a statement for media representatives, Luke revealed that his family would accompany him in Liverpool, and that they represent great support and encouragement. He also has a great desire to reach the grand final at Eurovision.
He also added that the spirit of Čačak, Luke’s hometown, would be there as an additional boost.
Serbia’s Luke Black will perform his song “Samo mi se spava” in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 9 in position 3.
