It’s the greatest Italian television event and the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest. Of course we’re talking about the Sanremo Music Festival. The Italians have been working hard all year leading up to this national treasure of a show, and soon, it will be Carlo Conti‘s task to guide Italian viewers through 30 potential hits of the year 2025.
The song titles of Sanremo 2025
Not too long ago, Italian broadcaster RAI did share which 30 artists would compete in the “Big Artists” section, of the 2025 Sanremo Festival. However, the songs and their titles were not yet revealed. To begin with, the songs themselves, will not be revealed before the live show, as usual in Italy. However, with the final of Sanremo Giovani being held tonight, it was also the perfect occasion to reveal the titles of the songs, which will be performed in less than 2 months from now.
These are the 30 artists and their song titles, which will compete in the Big Artist section at Sanremo 2025:

- Brunori Sas – “L’albero delle noci“
- Clara – “Febbre”
- Coma_Cose – “Cuoricini“
- Elodie – “Dimenticarsi alle 7“

- Francesca Michielin – “Fango in paradiso”
- Francesco Gabbani – “Viva la vita“
- Gaia – “Chiamo io o chiami tu“
- Giorgia – “La cura per me“
- Irama – “Lentamente“
- Joan Thiele – “Eco“
- Lucio Corsi – “Volevo essere un duro“
- Marcella Bella – “Pelle diamante“

Among the competing artists, we see a good handful of artists, which have competed in the more recent editions of Sanremo, with even some of the having competing multiple times. When it comes to former Eurovision Song Contest participants, 3 names will stick out, that being Francesca Michielin and Francesco Gabbani who both represented Italy at the 2016 and 2017 contests respectively, while Achille Lauro represented San Marino in 2022, when the contest was held in Turin, Italy.
There will also be the newcomer section, which will also be held during the 2025 Sanremo Festival, but for the 2025 edition, these acts will not be considered as part of the main competition. In the past, the winners of Sanremo Giovani would get the chance to compete as well as part of the Big Artist section.
As a short reminder, the 2025 Sanremo Festival will be held 5 nights in a row, starting from the 11th of February and the final night being on the 15th of February.
The first night will feature all 30 acts singing their song for the first time ever. The second and third night will see all 30 acts perform their songs for the second time, just that only half will feature the second night, and the other half will feature on the third night. The fourth night will then see all competing acts perform covers, either with each other or guest performers, this night will not count towards the overall final results. Then finally, on the fifth night, all 30 acts will sing their song for a third time, with the combined score from the past nights deciding the final top 5. The top 5 will then again sing their song, before a winner is crowned.
