As February ended and March rolled around, it left us with only two whole months until the Liverpool Eurovision show in May. Time flies! Some countries are still in the stages of choosing their respectful representatives, others countries are starting to slowly approach their preparations for the arena performance.

Let 3, the band that will represent Croatia in Eurovision 2023, is one of them! According to their Instagram updates, it seems that the delegation is putting a lot of thought and effort in concocting what is shaping up to be a wild ride. They will be singing in Croatian, and it seems that they have already filmed their live on tape performance yesterday within the HRT studios:

In addition to that, they have recently clarified what “Šč!” meant in their lyrics as well as their song title. Damir MartinoviΔ‡ Mrle, the bassist of the band, explained that this was “a very energetically strong compound word, that evokes happiness […] it can be very positive in terms of meditation […] Šč is always very much welcome and causes strong happiness and positive energy.”

Croatia will try their luck in Livepool in the first semi final, on May 9, 2023.
