CyBc has revealed on social media that Silia’s Eurovision 2024 entry “Liar” will be released on February 29th.
The filming of this year’s Cypriot entry took place in Cyprus. Silia Kapsis and her team shot the video in Limassol during the first weekend of February, under the guidance of director Kostas Karydas, a renown independent filmmaker who has also worked with Sakis Rouvas back in 2019 and 2009.
Over the past few days, Silia has shared backstage photos and videos, providing glimpses of her recording process for the music video, strategically engaging with her fan base. In between recording the music video and final track for “Liar”, Silia has also been rehearsing choreography in Los Angeles with her dancers and doing interviews with Cypriot and Greek media outlets.
Silia Kapsis was announced by CyBC to be the next Cypriot artist for Eurovision back in September. Like last year’s representative Andrew Lambrou, Silia was born and lives in Sydney, Australia but has ties back to both Greece and Cyprus through her parents.
