The first night of the 63rd Festivali i Këngës captivated audiences with over three hours of music, performance, and spectacle. Hosted by Ornela Bregu and Enkel Demi, the event brought together an impressive lineup of 15 artists who delivered memorable performances.
In addition to the amazing talent, guest performances of the night were from the rapper Noizy, who captivated the audience with his rendition of the soundtrack for the film Troubleshooters, in which he also stars, and a special appearance by French singer Slimane, who delivered two emotionally charged performances. One of his highlights was a duet with Elhaida Dani (Albania, Eurovision 2015), both an artist and the festival’s artistic director. Slimane’s hit song, Mon Amour — which represented France at Eurovision 2024 — brought the audience to their feet, while his duet with Dani created a magical moment on stage.
Tonight we also got introduced to the jury members:
- Zana Çela (Chairperson)
- Alma Bektashi
- Ylljet Aliçka
- Merita Rexha Tërshana
- Florent Boshnjaku
- Jonida Maliqi
- Ramona Tullumani.
Their votes will determine the 15 finalists who will compete in the fourth and final night of FiK 63. In the final round, the public vote will be combined with the jury’s decision to select the winner, who will represent Albania at Eurovision.
The evening was not just about music; it also served as a platform for significant social messages. Throughout the festival, women and girls will take the stage to share inspiring stories of resilience, overcoming societal stereotypes, and empowering others.
