The seven artists competing in ESCZ 2024 on Monday, 4th December have been announced by Česká televise. The final will be held at the Roxy Music Hall in Prague with a live audience and the show will be broadcast live at 20:15 CET on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
The ESCZ 2024 finalists are:
Aiko
A singer based in Brighton who was raised in Czechia creating alternative pop music. Aiko mixes a unique blend of cultures and influences as an artist exploring topics such as love, solitude and understanding of self through music.
Elly
Elly is a Czech singer and songwriter based in Prague. Elly’s music is influenced by artists like Beyoncé and Adele but also adds her own unique spark of personality to her music. Her song, Are You There was a number one in Evroopa 2 Music Chart for several weeks and became the 6th most airplayed song in Czechia.
Gianna Lei
Gianna Lei is born in Switzerland and raised in Prague but is currently based in London. Gianna’s strand of addictive pop combines Bubblegum melodies, genre-bending beats and witty lyrical flick of somebody who’s just had their trust broken for the first time.
Lenny
Lenny has established herself as one of the most popular artists in Czechia with her unmistakable voice and outstanding songwriting skills. Lenny has received no less than 6 Andel awards and has already shared the stage with the likes of Mike Shinoda, Imagine Dragons, LP and Emeli Sandé. Her debut album “Hearts” secured top position in charts.
MYDY
MYDY have the status as one of the most product bands in Czechia with appearances at the British Glastonbury festival and successful tours in North America, Europe and South Korea. The band consists Nèro Scartch, sax player Mikulas and bass player Johny D stands charismatic singer Žofie Dares.
Tom Sean
Tom sean is a singer, actor, songwriter and produce who is born in Dublin but has lived most of his life in Prague, Czechia. Tom gained popularity on TikTok where aged 14 he was spotted by Honza Gajdos, the prominent Czech music producer who would later become Sean’s manager and music producer. Tom has many singles to his name including the smash hits Heart Hotel, Reach the Stars and Nočni Praha.
Tomas Robin
TOMAS ROBIN is the pseudonym of the Czech singer and songwriter Tomáš Červinka. Tomas has shared the stage with several notable acts including All Time Low, Deaf Havana, Against The Current and Young Guns. Together with The Lighthouse Journey, he became the first Czech artist to be featured on the British Kerrang! radio show.
