The announcement of the UK national final was planned for tomorrow but the information was leaked hours early. It has now been confirmed that the United Kingdom’s National Selection process will be a TV show consisting of 6 songs and will be held on Friday the 26th of February.
The show will be held in the o2 Forum Kentish Town, and will be hosted by Mel Giedroyc on the 26th of February, in a 90 minute show and will not only consist of the six participating songs, but an array of musical guests.
The details of the guest performers will be premiered on BBC Radio 2 on the 22nd of January, the same day as the tickets for Eurovision: You Decide go on sale.
It has also been announced that the Semi-Finals will be broadcast on BBC4, as BBC3 will no longer be a station (which makes no sence having BBC1, BBC2, and BBC4, but I guess they will change the channel names by then)
