As the Polish national selection draws closer, we were able to sit down with another Eurovision 2025 hopeful TYNSKY.

Taken from Spotify TYNSKY is a 21-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer from Poland. Recognized by the iconic magazine Rolling Stone and as the third male Polish artist featured on a billboard in Times Square.

Last year, he further enriched his musical knowledge and experience, working in recording studios across Los Angeles, Berlin, and London. After a period of reflection, he returned with a new EP, “It’s All About The Changes”, including a lead single and potential Eurovision entry “Miracle”.

Hello there TYNSKY, welcome to ESCUnited.com! We’re so excited to have the opportunity to interview you today. Before we get deep in questions – how are you doing in the build-up to Polskie Kwalifikacje?

Hi Connor, thanks for having me!

I’m doing great, staying focused and super excited about all the new opportunities ahead!

Before we dive into talks of Eurovision I’d love a chance for our readers to get to know you better! What are 2-3 things our readers would be surprised to learn about you?

Sure! As you may already know, I’m an artist, but I also produce my songs, especially the latest ones, which means I’m involved in almost every part of the process.

I started writing songs when I was around 13 years old!

How would you describe your music to someone who has never listened to it? Are there any artists, genres, or styles that inspire your music?

I’m not a big fan of labeling music by genre, which makes it even harder to describe my style. I’d say it’s a mix of alternative/indie music with crazy samples and catchy pop melodies.

I’m inspired by whatever I’m listening to at the moment, but if I had to pick three artists I look up to the most, it would be Jon Bellion, John Mayer, and Mk.gee!

Let’s pretend you’re at a karaoke night and you must perform. Which song(s) would you pick and why?

Interesting question! I would definitely pick “Human Nature” by Michael Jackson! It’s such a great song – so well-written, with an incredible sense of grace in the way it sounds.

How would you describe your relationship with Eurovision? Would you consider yourself to be a fan of the contest?

The first time I heard about Eurovision was in 2012 when Loreen won the contest with her song “Euphoria”. My mom used to play it a lot, and it was only a matter of time before I started liking it too.

Nowadays, I see Eurovision as a major part of the European music industry, and recent editions—along with artists like Måneskin – show that its influence is growing worldwide. For people like me, who are interested not just in music but in the entire industry, Eurovision is a great way to stay updated!

Your song “Miracle” comes from your recently debuted EP “It’s All About the Changes”. How did this song come about in the writing process and why did you decide to submit this song over the others from the EP?

The entire process of creating the demo version of “Miracle” – which didn’t have lyrics at the time – took just one day. I made it at home, where I live, on a sunny late-spring day. I had set myself a challenge to start a new idea every day and see where it would take me.

At first, I wasn’t sure if the demo was any good, but after taking a short break, I realized I really liked what I was creating. After some time, I shared it with my friend, producer Riddick, and we started working on it together. I also had the chance to write this song with two amazing LA-based songwriters, Chloe Copoloff and Francis Karel.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who was part of this process!

And speaking of that, you’ve also released a revamped Eurovision version of “Miracle” for the contest. Aside from removing 9 seconds of music what are the main differences between the EP and Eurovision versions? What inspired these changes?

I had a clear vision of the changes I wanted to make and how to capture them in the song, which made the process much smoother. The biggest difference, I’d say, is the faster transition into the second verse, along with the variation we introduced at the beginning of the final chorus.

Additionally, we wanted to pay extra attention to the drums and ear candy elements during the mixing process, as they are a huge part of the track!

Now I know that you can’t reveal any details about your staging plans for the Polish national selection, but if I asked you to describe it using only 10 words what would you say?

I would use 3 words instead of 10 if I may, it will, make it even more mysterious:

  • Remarkable
  • Intimate
  • Unusual

As we close our time together is there anything you would like to share with our readers including how to connect with you on social media or support your music?

You can find me everywhere @iamtynsky! I’m super excited for the national finals – let the music decide!

Thank you so much for your time TYNSKY and wishing you the best of luck in the Polish Pre-selection!
