Traditionally the first national final of each Eurovision season, Albania may not be the first country to reveal their entry for Eurovision 2022, but nonetheless the beginning of Festivali i Këngës marks a significant moment in the national final season. Tonight, the festival turns 60 as the latest competition begins in Tirana, Albania!

20 acts will perform over three nights, with the decision of who should represent Albania in Turin being made on December 29th. The twenty acts performing in Festivali i Këngës 60 are;

  • Alban Ramosaj – Theje
  • Denis Skura – Pse nuk flet, mama?
  • Eldis Arrnjeti – Refuzoj
  • Endri & Stefi – Triumfi i jetës
  • Ester Zahiri – Hiena
  • Evi Reçi – Më duaj
  • Gjergj Kaçinari – Në ëndërr mbete ti
  • Janex – Deluzional
  • Kastro Zizo – Kujë
  • Kejsi Rustja – Vallëzoj me ty
  • Kelly – Meteor
  • Mirud – Për dreq
  • Olimpia Smajlaj – Dua
  • Rezarta Smaja – E jemja nuse
  • Ronela Hajati – Sekret
  • Sajmir Çili – Nën maskë
  • Shega – Një
  • Urban Band – Padrejtësi
  • Viola Xhemali – Eja si erë
  • Xhuli Pjetraj – Baladë

The three shows will be hosted each night at 21:00 CET from the Pallati i Kongreseve, Tirana, with the presenting duties falling to 2009 winning songwriter Ardit Gjebrea, Isli Islami, Kelvi Kadilli, Xhemi Shehu and Eurovision 2019 representative Jonida Maliqi. #YOU can watch the show from RTSH’s live stream HERE.
