During the lead in to the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest we were able to sit down with Romanian representative Theodor Andrei within the Camp and Furnace Euroclub on May 3rd.

During our conversation together Theodor covered a number of his musical inspirations from the Rock n’ Roll genres, specifically Aerosmith, Elvis, Bon Jovi, and Little Richard. Curious about the large hand in his press conference, photos, and our interview above? Well it’s a metaphor for D.G.T. but we’ll let him explain himself.

He had also discussed during the press conference with Reiley, Alika, and Joker Out that he’s working on a three-part Eurovision medley series, with at least part one and two already being released on his personal Youtube account.

Who is Theodor Andrei

Theodor’s earliest achievement was participating in and reaching the semi-finals round for Vocea României Junior (The Voice Kids Romania), and then his participation in X Factor Romania as well. Since then he’s picked up a few awards at festivals, and last year earned the Myosotis Award for best creation by a singer-songwriter

Now he is bringing his unique influence of Rock n’ Roll mixed with various other genres to Eurovision to create a song that Romania has never dared to send before.

Romania will compete in the second semi-final on May 11th and perform 3rd in the show.
