Today the first three acts for the next stage of the Swiss national final have been determined. The Italian language broadcaster RSI chose their candidates internally. The Vad Vuc, Deborah Bough and Elias feat. Zero In On will perform at the so-called “expert check” in December. One of the three acts will get a ticket for the actual national final show in January.
The jury that picked the three songs was made up of former Eurovision entrant Paolo Meneguzzi, The Voice participant Iris Moné and singer-songwriter Simone Tomassini.
The Vad Vuc might be a familiar name to some Eurovision fans: Until 2012, this year’s entrant Sebalter was a member of the band. Afterwards, he went on to pursue his solo career.
