Hungary’s national selection, A Dal, held its third (and last) quarterfinal this evening, with six more acts qualifying for the semi-finals. The first two quarterfinals were held January 25 and February 1. The jury selected the first three of the six advancing acts. After the jury selection, the public voted on the remaining seven songs to select the final three.
The 18 songs that have advanced from Hungary’s quarterfinals will compete in the semi-finals on February 15th and 16th. Each semi-final will have nine songs, of which four will advance to the finals. Similar to the quarterfinals, the first two of the four songs to advance will be selected by the jury and televoters will then select the additional two. The eight songs that advance in the semi-finals will compete in the final on February 22nd.
