This has come a little out of nowhere! San Marino look all set to announce their participation in Eurovision 2017 this weekend after some scepticism over the voting process was raised by the microstate in 2016. Even better, it looks like we may be getting their songs straight away!
SMRTV, the natiomal broadcaster of the tiny state nestled in Italy, is set to broadcast a preview show for their 2016-17 TV season, with Eurovision set to feature heavily in the plans. As part of this show it seems that the broadcaster will also reveal which performer has been given the honour of singing for the country.
Rumours are flying around various fan sites that this may see a second year of Serhat, one of the biggest personalities of the Stockholm contest, but time will tell. Either way, this is one weekend to keep an eye on!
