Moscow, Russia – One of the most expected Eurovision entries has been revealed this morning as Russian singer Sergey Lazarev premiered ‘You are the only one’.
Sergey Lazarev has been selected via an internal selection by Russian broadcaster RTR to fly the Russian flag at the upcoming Eurovision that will take place in Sweden.
Song ‘You Are The Only One’ was composed by Phillip Kirkorov and Dimitris Kontopoulos, who also produced 2016 Russian Eurovision entry, lyrics were written by John Ballard and Ralph Charlie. Song was mastered in New York.
The same team was behind the 2014 Russian entry Shine performed by the Tolmachevy Twins in Copenhagen, the 2008 Ukranian entry Shady Lady performed by Ani Lorak in Belgrade.
As a reminder – Russia will take place in the first half of 1st Semi – Final that will take place on May 10th!
