Russia announced the first details for their National Final selection process HERE .
The Russian broadcaster RTR posted the press release asking singers to apply and become the Russian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Artists interested have two months to send in their application to Project “Kto” (Who). The show will be held on December 31st.
According to the press release 25 songs will be selected and most likely only televoters (and Internet votes) will determine the winner. Additional details will be released in due time.
Russia finished 5th in 2013 with Dani Garipova and her song “What if” while the Buranovskiye Babushki finished even higher in 2012 with their entry “Party for everybody”. Whoever becomes the next representative has big shoes to fill so we’re looking forward to the show.
