After a multi-week process, the Portuguese national selection, Festival da Cançao has concluded, and Cláudia Pascoal will be representing Portugal on home soil this May with her song “O jardim!” The full lineup of songs performed was:

- Peter Serrado – Sunset
- Joana Espadinha – Zero a zero
- Lili – O vôo das cegonhas
- Catarina Miranda – Para sorrir não preciso de nada
- Joana Barra Vaz – Anda estragar-me os planos
- David Pessoa – Amor veloz
- Minnie & Rhayra – Patati patata
- Janeiro – (sem título)
- Maria Inês Paris – Bandeira azul
- Anabela – Para te dar abrigo
- Cláudia Pascoal – O jardim
- Peu Madureira – Só por ela
The show also featured performances from iconic Portuguese performers such as Luísa Sobral and Simone de Oliveira. Catarina Miranda took first in the jury vote, but the tele-vote advantage held by Cláudia Pascoal put her over the top and sent her off to Eurovision!
