No sooner have Ukraine crowned their winners and selected the first song of Eurovision 2023, then it is time for Albania to choose their holiday-time hero – that’s right, Festivali i Këngës is back for its 61st edition!
In truth, it’s already been back for two nights, but we now know which 21 acts will be vying for the latest triumph in the annual Albanian showpiece – and on Thursday the decision will be made for the first time by the Albanian public!
Now, while the winner of the festival does not receive automatic rights to represent the nation in Liverpool, the Albanian televote will separately choose their artist and song on Thursday night. So, who should it be? Who do #YOU want Albania to choose for 2023?
