TVP has already decided and confirmed an artist and song for Eurovision 2015 but the decision will not be made officially public until March, ESC United understands.
The Polish professional jury who decided on this year’s participant allegedly did not take into consideration Margaret, who many Eurovision fans were keen to see. A TVP spokesperson stated “We asked her about it last year, but we have not made any proposals this year”.
It also seems that this year Poland will be going with a soloist based on the phrasing of TVP’s statements to Wirtualnemedia.pl.
Last year, Poland returned to the contest after a two-year absence, with Donatan and Cleo finishing 14th in the final with “My Słowianie”, despite finishing Top 5 with Europe’s televoters. TVP are expected to announce their representative for this year in March.
