The annual Barbara Dex Award, given to the act voted to have the worst costume on the Eurovision stage, has been awarded this year to the Netherlands’ Trijntje Oosterhuis.
Despite changing from a controversial dress to a less unusual catsuit affair could not stop the country overwhelmingly winning the voting with over 25% of the votes. Bojana Stamenov from Serbia was second by a long way, with the United Kingdom’s Electro Velvet in 3rd.
The full top 10 is as follows;
- Netherlands – 1324 votes
- Serbia – 605 votes
- United Kingdom – 397 votes
- Albania – 263 votes
- Moldova – 237 votes
- Georgia – 195 votes
- Iceland – 148 votes
