The Netherlands have begun to ramp up the hype and the pressure for Lisbon by allowing Waylon – 2018’s representative – to drip-feed potential songs for the contest on the chat show De Wereld Draait Door this week!

The first song was revealed on Friday’s show as “Back Together”, which #YOU can hear below;

Tonight’s reveal was for the second entry, the rockier “Outlaw in ’em”. Three more potential Eurovision entries will be performed by Waylon on the show with one entry per day until 1st March. The song that has been chosen for Lisbon will then be revealed on Saturday 3rd March.

All five of the songs will feature on Waylon’s upcoming album The World Can Wait in a novel twist on using Eurovision hype to promote a new release. The title track of the album will be tomorrow’s song.

Do either of Waylon’s songs catch the imagination? Can he go one better than in Copenhagen?
