Bærum, 29 January 2022

The final delfinalen of Norway aired today, with the subtitle of Sistesjansen. Four wildcards eliminated in the previous liveshows competed for a last chance at that precious golden ticket.

As per Monday’s online vote, the following acts competed tonight:

  • Mari Bølla – “Your loss
  • Kim Wigaard – “La Melodia
  • Maria Mohn – “Fly
  • TrollfesT – “Dance like a pink flamingo

The four last chancers each had a chance to perform live again, after which a public vote was opened. The acts that received the most votes would then advance to the Gold Duel which would determine the winner of the Guldticket.

Before the winners of the preliminary vote were announced however, it was time for the fifth and final direct finalist to make their live début.

AUTO-QUALIFER SHOWCASE: Anna-Lisa Kumoji

Anna-Lisa Kumoji was the last finalist to reveal the live staging of her entry, the electro-swing number “Queen bees”. Let’s see what this previous MGP finalist (“Holla”, 2019) had in store for us this year?

Gold Duel

The audience chose Maria Mohn and TrollfesT as the final Gold Duel, eliminating Mari and Kim. The two reprised their songs when the final choice was made. Who would win? The new age ballad or the novelty dance metal.

With that, Norway have now completed the full set of finalists. One of these 10 songs will win Melodi Grand Prix 2022 and represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest.
