Malta announced that 22 artists would be competing in their Eurovision selection MESC just before the new year, and today they released their songs in full! The music videos for each artist follow the same format as previous MESC editions, a black and white video featuring the artist and the lyrics of the song.

The artist list is made up of numerous Malta X Factor participants, in addition to former Eurovision artists Jessica Muscat and Richard Micallef, and former MESC participants Aidan Cassar, Racquel Galdes Brifa, Janice Madrigon, and MATT BLVCK. Emma Muscat is a very popular artist in Malta and her participation in MESC has certainly created a fair bit of buzz.

MESC will conist of both a semi-final show on February 17th, and a final on Feburary 19th. in the semi-final all 22 songs will be performed, and 6 will be cut from the pack. The remaining 16 songs will take the stage again in the final, and a winner will be decided by a split jury and public vote. Both shows will be broadcast on tvm.com.mt.
