The United Kingdom have today released the information we have all been waiting for! The BBC are once again holding an open selection for songs beginning today and the deadline is the 1st of November.

2016 was the first time the British people had a say in the song that would represent them in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2008. The national final, Eurovision: Your Decision, was used for the first time last year which saw Joe & Jake and their song “Your’e Not Alone” win the UK’s ticket to Stockholm, the BBC have once again opted for this show to select their 2017 song.

The details regarding the process are expected later in the year, so the only information we have at the minute is that there is an open selection for songs, as well as songs being submitted by professionals in the music industry, and the fact that there will be a televised national final to select the song.
