Today the Lithuanian broadcaster has revealed the names of the acts who will be hoping to represent Lithuania in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, as well as the dates for their extra long national final.
As in previous years the Lithuanian national final will take place over a few months, the 2016 national final will begin on the 9th of February with 28 acts, some of whom have previously represented Lithuania in the Eurovisin Song Contest:

Some familiar names: Erica Jennings represented Lithuania in Copenhagen in the 2001 contest as part of the group SKAMP with the song “You Got Style” which ended 13th. Donatas Montvydas (AKA Donny Montell) took to the Eurovision stage in Baku in 2012, wnding 14th with “Love is Blind”. Aistė Pilvelytė has attempted to represent her nation in Eurovision on a number of occasions, one of which was in 2008 when she sung “Troy on Fire” narrowly missing out on representing Lithuania by 432 votes. Others who have previously attempted to represent Lithuania are: Rūta Ščiogolevaitė, Ruslanas Kirilkinas, to name a few.
