Back in October 2022, Lithuanian broadcaster (LRT) announced that once again, the still relatively new national final format of Pabandom iš naujo! would once again return on Lithuanian screen over the winter, as will once again serve as the televised national final of the country. The submission period was just recently closed, but earlier today, the full list of participants were revealed.
Pabandom iš naujo 2023!
Pabandom iš naujo! was first televised back in 2020, but it was also the show that introduced all of Europe to The Roop. Sadly, the 2020 edition was just not meant to be, so it was used once again in 2021, where the group once again won the competition and actually went on to show Europe, who they were. The show returned in 2022, which presented us to not only Monika Liu, but also the first song in Lithuanian, in more than over 20 years. With success, by qualifying in both 2021 and 2022, then why not give it another shot in 2023.
It has been revealed by LRT, that a total of 30 acts will compete in the show, across 5 shows. There will be two heats, two semi-finals and then of course the final, where the winner is selected.
